Sara Ellis, Owner
Sara Ellis is a former Volvo-Cannondale World Cup XC Mountain Bike racer and coach, who has many top 10 finishes under her belt. After retiring from the World Cup
circuit, Sara focused on coaching both competitors, and those who wanted to better their skills. She found that strength training was essential, and incorporated
both spinning and strength training to create Ultimate Fitness.
Elena Katholos Jungsten, Pilates Program Director
Elena has been a physical fitness enthusiast for over 20 years. Her 8-year personal practice in Pilates led
her to continue her quest to become a Certified Pilates Instructor through 'Yoga in Motion' Studio by Susan
Branum and Mercy Sidbury in July, 2004. She continues her education by frequently observing and is involved
in co-treatment with Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist Caroline Bourcier, MSPT, OCS. Elena looks forward
to assisting others in their personal journeys into wellness through the mind-body connection offered by the
Pilates Method. She is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Educator.
Syndee Collison
Syndee is a Certified Nutrition Consultant, specializing in personalized health solutions, and one-on-one
nutritional cooking and coaching.
Carl Cruz
Carl is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) since '03 and received his B.A. from California State University, Hayward.
He is a triathlete with finishes including Ironman Wisconsin (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run), Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, and "The World's Toughest" Half Ironman triathlon in Auburn, CA.
He is a Spin class instructor and a motivator for clients to take their fitness outdoors.
Carl also has experience with helping clients recover from back pain, knee issues, and shoulder injuries.
